To represent the non-profit or community organization sector, Sustainable Berkeley also works closely with (and is fiscally sponsored by) Community Energy Services Corporation (CESC). CESC's focus is on energy efficiency and they provide lighting retrofits and free audits through their SmartLights program. They are also represented on our Steering and Executive Committees by their Executive Director, Nancy Hoeffer.
We are also closely partnered with the Ecology Center - as their Executive Director, Martin Bourque sits on our Executive and Steering Committees. Their focus is to promote environmentally and socially responsible practices through programs that educate, demonstrate, and provide direct services.
Please support these local non-profits and use them as resources!
