On November 9, 2006 nearly 150 local leaders celebrated our accomplishments and made connections to continue the work of making Berkeley a center of sustainability innovation. The evening featured an address by Dr. Dan Kammen, a nationally recognized energy policy expert from UC Berkeley. Guests also heard from Van Jones, Esq., Executive Director of the Ella Baker Center for Human Rights who spoke on combining social equity work with economic renewable energy market development.
